The Model M1K-20 is a general purpose laboratory instrument which operates under dynamic load conditions. With a load current capability greater than 20 amps, load resistances to 50 ohms may be used, or high impedance loads which require a parallel "pull down" resistor to decrease fall time. This is a single switch pulser with pulse fall time a function of load RC. The instrument consists of an IGBT switch and a multi-range solid state TTL driver. The pulser generates clean positive or negative pulses into dynamic loads.
